A Little Update:

Nearly 3 weeks, that's how long it's been since I've had the time/energy to write anything! Why? Well, life.

My life has been full of appointments, paperwork and a child out of school again. The coming weeks will be full of the same.

Let's start with the mister, shall we? If you're a regular reader then you'll know that he was retired, due to disability, a few years ago. Since this happened he's had problem after problem, it isn't showing signs of changing.
The newest diagnosis is hearing loss.
I think we've known, for some time, that he's been having trouble with his hearing, I've definitely known. Anyway, he went through the system, which ended with an audiology appointment. Turns out, the higher pitched the noise, the more severe the hearing loss.
The result? 2 hearing aids.

So yeah, besides not being able to walk without sticks, having various types of arthritis from the neck down, needing to have his cataracts removed, he now also needs hearing aids. The poor bugger has totally been put through the ringer, lately, and I haven't even mentioned some of the other problems he has.

Then we have our little man who, on top of his autism and other difficulties, also has bowel issues. I won't say too much, because he doesn't like me talking about it. Basically, at the moment, the stuff he has to take, and the results, mean he's home for a couple of weeks.

I did manage a little break away, a little time for myself. I went to Blog On, which is a conference for bloggers to mingle and learn new things. It took a bit of anxiety busting, to get out of the car, but when I did, I loved it! The day was full of good chat, good sessions, good food (at least I thought so). I learnt so much, got to see some awesome toys, brilliant companies and voted in the toy awards.

The only thing I'm gutted about, I didn't play on the retro arcade games they had, in the lobby:

When I got home, the mister had a stinking cold, then shit (literally) hit the fan.

So, as you can read, the last couple of weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind. I'm not going to lie, it's been mentally exhausting.

I am, however, still battling on.
Same shit different day, right?
