Reasons to be cheerful

I forgot how much I loved this link up, how much it reminds me to look for the positives in life. Even though I've been exhausted lately (Easter hols next week, yay!), I'm still happy. I am taking little positives out of everyday.

A round up of this weeks reasons to smile:

1. My daily dog walks: They give me exercise, I get to listen to music, I also get to pass some local allotments and see some crazy animals. For some reason, one day last week, the chickens were all piled up in one corner!

They have loads of room, but they all decided to pile up in one place.

2. My lovely dog: Like I say, I love my dog walks, but I also love how well this dog has settled into our house. When you adopt a rescue dog, you have no idea what their life was like before. We have some details, like that he was a cruelty case and that he'd probably never been in a house (watching him navigate the stairs, initially, proved that to be true). So you wonder how he will react and, I'm very pleased to say, he's settled in lovely. He's affectionate, clever and very quick! He also does not like to be disturbed when he's comfortable, as this picture of him refusing to get out of our sons bed, while it was being made, proves!

How can you not love that face!

3. Just being happy. I'm just very content, at the moment. I'm enjoying sharing my feelings on here, I'm enjoying my own company, and the company of my loved ones. I'm simply happy, I think accepting that things aren't perfect, but perfect for you, is life changing.

Anyway, what's made you smile, this week. Don't forget to look for those little things, they're the most important.
