Firstly, I'll apologise now, to the readers that are not parents. This post probably won't mean a lot to you!
It's that time of the year again.
While a lot of people are packing, or already on holidays, or wondering what to do over the bank holiday weekend. Parents, of school age children have something slightly different on their minds...... the dreaded school uniform shop!
Oh we love it, don't we?! Dragging miserable children shop to shop. They've spent most of the summer complaining of how bored they are, now you have something to do, they don't want to do it! Go figure!
So, what do you do?
Online shop, obviously.
Debenhams got in touch with me, asked me to try out their online uniform shop. Quite frankly, I jumped at the chance. I was planning a day to get the shopping done, and was sincerely not looking forward to it.
Firstly, being as
tight frugal, as I am, I was impressed by the prices. I genuinely thought they would be expensive, only to find their prices very reasonable. The main thing that I liked, however, was the polo shirts, for Ajax. He is tall and slim, like his dad used to be. Normally when I buy his shirts, by the time I have the right length, they look 3 sizes to big! They had the option to buy slim fit shirts, they are perfect on him.
I found ordering online very simple, as you would expect from a big company. I went for standard delivery, as there is no rush to get it back next day. Delivery was still within a couple of days though.
The quality of the products was fantastic. If you have read my blog before, you will know that both my youngest have some sensory issues, so a good quality, soft fabric, is very important. This is what I received (I haven't stopped touching the jumper!).
Overall I'm well impressed with the products, and the service. Now I have the dreaded uniform shop complete, without the addition of performing teens, or miserable tweens!
