Reasons to be Cheerful

I've been a little MIA this week. I'm afraid I've been a little poorly, sleeping and exhausted all the time, again.

I am coming out the other side now, getting on with it. Whilst awake, however, I've been keeping busy. Hence having reasons this week!

Reasons to be Cheerful

As a side note, please pop to Becky's post HERE, my co host is living in the flood hit Cumbria and is drumming up support for the appeal.

Here are my reasons to smile this week:

1. Homemade Christmas. I'm off again! While I've been a little poorly, crafting kept me sane. With a little help from Mr. Ojo, last Saturday, we made 'Santa hat' chair covers:

I really am SO pleased with them! They came out so much better than I hoped. I'm thinking of doing a 'how to' post, they are not as hard as you would think!

2. Christmas Shopping. Feeling better on Wednesday, we went out and did a bit of Christmas shopping. I don't hugely over indulge, but I do like to get my boys things I know they will love. I'm very lucky that my boys are grateful for all they get.

3. Seasonal Activities. I know, it's all about Christmas, but I love it so much! So far this week we have had RJ at his scout carol service:
sorry for the quality, but I struggled to get
a picture of him.
I also got to see my friends, little ones, nativities. I am very thankful that I got to go to the infants performance to see my friends child, as one of the narrators, as I don't have any children left at that age, and I love to see their little faces!

That's me done, how are your preparations going? Are you as mad for Christmas as me?

Now I'm feeling better, I will be well and truly throwing myself into the season.
