I was brave, yesterday, and took my 2 youngest boys to town. Just for a look around and some lunch.
If you knew my boys, you would understand why this was such a big deal. With both on different areas of the autistic spectrum, it can be quite a handful.
Luckily the youngest wanted to hide in his pushchair (I hate the looks I get for this!). So the day went pretty smoothly.
We stopped for lunch in the tweens favourite coffee shop, called Cesars. I love it there too, unfortunately they don't do soya milk in the drinks, so I've had to give up their delicious hot chocolate.
The restaurant has a lot of pictures of Rome, but it was the first time I'd paid attention to the bust.
With a bit of editing, I think it looks absolutely stunning:

What a fantastic looking photo - it seems very atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteHe looks very regal and your Lightning has made him look even more sophisticated looking.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not sure handsome Romans make up for the loss of hot chocolate but at least it helps distract from it :o) Great shot.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very impressive! But even more impressive that you managed to take the boys out on your own. It's horrible that people look at your son for being in the buggy. Grrr!
ReplyDeletewell done for managing town with both the boys
ReplyDeleteIt does indeed look stunning, hope you had a good day with the boys in town.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photo, it looks like it could have been taken in a museum! Well done on getting out with the two boys on your own. I rarely take me children out shopping or anything on my own because my wee boy has ASD and you just can't predict how he will react x
ReplyDeleteStunning photo, glad to hear you had a good day in town
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up

ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic. I love the detail on it x
