Do you realise, this time next week is Christmas eve??
That just about the best reason to be Cheerful, for me!
Don't worry, I still have others, and would love for you to share yours with me.
2. An old friend. An old school friend, that I've kept in touch with through social media, but not spoken to face to face in many years, dropped a present into the house last night. She had seen on Facebook that I was struggling and dropped in some 'Me time' gifts. It's renewed my, already strong, faith in people.
3. Making Christmas. I'm still enjoying making things for Xmas. Last night it was home made marshmallow! I was sent the book by a fellow blogger, and friend, City Girl Gone Coastal, many months ago. It's taken me this long to be brave enough to try it! It turned out delicious.
Hope the marshmallow worked! I love this time of year now we have broken up for the holidays..

DeleteIt's so easy to do something nice for someone else, yet so very few people actually do. It's lovely to read that you were the recipient of such a kindness :)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to read, too, that the boys are coping well xx
Thank you, it's really made my Christmas, and yes I'm relieved the boys are coping xx
