Meal Planning

This weeks meal plan, along with extras needed, came to, just under, £80!

Still sending the teen and hubby to do the late night shop, as it seems to be working. Maybe because they are both scrooges frugal, or that meal planning is just a good idea for saving money.

Last weeks meal plan was mostly adhered to. The day we went shopping for school uniform, the plan went out the window....Harvester was calling (and we were exhausted!).

So here is this weeks meal plan, as always, linked up with Mrs. M.

Homemade Pizza
Roast Chicken Dinner
Pork Chops, Mash and Green beans (fresh from my uncles allotment)
Steak and Chips (The meal we missed last week)
Chicken Curry

Again, Mr. Ojo is on stupid late shifts, so food that can be reheated is the order of the day!

Don't forget to pop along to Mrs. M, to see more ideas. Also, let me know what's on your menu this week, I do love to know, I'm very nosey!

  1. I think everyone deserves a treat after shopping for school....It is exhausting!
Everything on your meal plan sounds fab x

  2. It all sounds yummy to me. Meal planning definitely saves money x

    1. Now I'm properly sticking to it, shopping lists and everything, I'm noticing the savings x

  3. I know that I'm going to end up eating out in the next fortnight as the last bits of school shopping is needed here too.

    1. Just don't have the energy to cook agreed it, and at least with harvester I can convince them to eat a bit of salad! Lol x

  4. It all sounds lovely, you have got me thinking about stews now it is getting cooler x

  5. Jo, you are so good and really put me to shame. I wake up in the morning and think to myself..... hmmm, what can I cook for supper tonight? :-)

    1. I would end up throwing together rubbish, if I did that lol x

  6. Ooh we haven't had lasagne for ages! #mealplanningmonday

I do love comments and read them all, please be nice and tboughful to others x
