Almost forgot to write this our this week, simply because my meal plan starts on a Saturday.
I've already noticed how much it's saving me again, both financially and in waste. There is, next to, no food being thrown out and what is, is mostly peelings.
Last week we stuck to plan all bar one day. I had no leftovers to make a pie with! So it was a freezer dive that day.
Saturday: Chicken Curry
Sunday: Roast Dinner
Monday: Corned Beef Pie
Wednesday: Cheese and Potato pie
Thursday: Pork Chops
Friday: Spaghetti Bolognese
I've had to think of meals that work around Mr. Ojos shifts this week. He has some later finishes, which means meals that can be reheated.
