Haven't we had a lovely couple of days? I am loving the weather at the moment, the bursts of sunshine, then showers is so refreshing.
Thanks for Becky for Lakes Single Mum for being our wonderful host this month, love how many are joining or re-joining the linky.
On to my:
1. A day in the city: Yesterday I had a morning in Cardiff with my hubby. Now you probably realise, if you are a regular reader, that I am a big believer in being a couple, not just mum and dad. While the boys were in school we spent a few hours, holding hands, wandering around, having coffee and soaking up the street performers. Heaven.

2. The front yard: The Mister is working blinking hard on the front yard, it is coming along brilliantly.
3. Tots100 Rankings: I know some people poo poo them, and say they don't write for stats etc.....
I'm not one of those people!
I was bloody ecstatic, when I saw this the other day:
It has slipped a little, but then the rankings always have a little wiggle just after they are released. I don't care though! I am still in the top 250 and I am still smiling!
So what is making you smile this week, do tell me.
I am about on twitter, facebook and the blog hop.
Well done on you're ranking, I'm hovering in the 600's & am quite pleased because last year I was well over 1000!! Have a good week x
ReplyDeleteIt's been a steady incline, but I'm over the moon xx
Deleteooh you are 34 places higher than me! well done
ReplyDeleteyour date sounds lovely
It was a wonderful day xx
DeleteWell done on your ranking!! I'm well into the 1000s lol :P
ReplyDeleteGlad you and the hubby had a lovely time, it's so important to make time to be a couple. It's something, unfortunately, that my Husband and I don't get to do very often x
We don't get to do it as often as I would like, but it was a lovely day xx
DeleteMy happy moment this week involved buying an XL dress in H&M and it hung off me, I had to trundle back and swap for an L, I couldn't believe it x
ReplyDeleteWell done you! Xx
DeleteDon't stress the stats - they don't define you even though the acknowledgement is pleasing. Love Cardiff and have had lovely days with OH there when we had our first child together. Couple time helps so much and you really got that over beautifully in this post.
ReplyDeleteThey don't stress me, don't worry. I am fascinated by it all though lol. Thank you, couple time is really important xx
DeleteHey, I'm languishing at 800 odd :-)
ReplyDeleteI love mooching around Cardiff with the DH when we manage to get back to Wales
It was lovely down there. We shall be making a point of spending some of the finer summer days, doing it again xx
