I was recently sent a pack of Schwartz products to try. I am a big fan of these products anyway. Anything that gives big flavours, with as little work as possible, is always going to be a winner with me!
The sent me Perfect Shake Seasoning in: Pasta, Spanish and Chips.
Flavour shots in: Spanish Paella, Italian Creamy Herb Tagliatelle and Indian Spicy Jalfrezi Curry.

As you may know, if you are a regular reader, I am not great at sticking to the rules. I like to mix it up a bit with my cooking, experiment with different flavours.
The first one I tried, was the Jalfrezi. I do love a good curry, especially when I can make them, reasonably, low in fat. Although this is made with sunflower oil, the rest of the ingredients are about the flavour. It's all about the balance of spice.
I have to say, I didn't follow the method (on the inside of the packaging), but I did stick to the ingredients.
It is so easy to follow, I am already a big lover of curry. This was one of the better ones. A real kick, when it came to the heat, but not so hot that you needed a glass of milk. If you are a fan of Jalfrezi already, you will like this:
I cannot tell you, just how good this tasted! (and no, I will not share either).
Simplicity, and full of flavour, made this a big hit in my house.
I gave my mum, who is really not known for her cooking skills, the Italian Creamy Herb Tagliatelle flavour shot and the Perfect Shake Spanish. She has tried both, with great praise. The outright winner for her has been the Perfect shake. She has said it will definitely be in her shopping basket in the future............believe me, that is high praise from her!
Now, when it came to the Perfect Shake in my house..........I broke the rules!
I so loved the smell of the *Chips* shake, that after trying it on oven chips (which is really good, by the way) I did this:
There is a Perfect Shake for chicken, but I must say this was stunning. But then, I loved the Chips Shake so much, I would put it on pretty much anything!
I have yet to try the Spanish Paella, that will be sometime in the next fortnight, I will post again when I do.

I am off to find the Perfect Shake for Chicken.......
( Quick edit: On completing this post, I had my lunch and
added the 'chips' shake to my mashed potato.........YUM!)
