Muddled Days

Is anyone else struggling?
Nothing major, just having the children off school, bank holiday........you know.
Add to that, different counties are off school at different times. When you live your life by twitter, it all gets very confusing!

My days are getting muddled.

The days are in the wrong place
Someone switched them all about
I wake up wondering where I should be
I'm always full of doubt!

Should they be at school today?
Should I be getting paid?
Should I even bother getting out of bed?
I think I'll just stay where I'm laid

My days are in a muddle
My weeks are upside down
I'm always in the wrong place
I'll get wrinkles from this frown!

I do hope you're all enjoying (or enjoyed) the Easter break. Personally I am looking forward to them going back, just so I know what day it is!

(As if to prove a point, this is meant for Prose4Thought..........on a Thursday, DOH!)

  1. Haha, It's very good don't forget to include it on Thursday. I know how you feel we're back to school today & keep thinking it's monday.

    1. As long as someone reminds me it's Thurs, I will lol x

  2. I'm convinced today is a Monday....lol

  3. I can totally relate to this. Ive been thinking its Monday all day. Yesterday i thought it was Sunday.

  4. I know what you mean! My kids went back to school yesterday (wednesday) so I've spent most of today thinking it must be tuesday. I can't get my head round the fact that tomorrow is Friday! NEXT week things might finally start feeling normal again! #prose4T

  5. Awesome! Really made me giggle. My boys are back at school now but it's always harder to keep track when they're off. #Prose4T

  6. Brilliant! This is exactly how I feel at the end of every holiday and the start of a new term!! It doesn't help that we have a few bank holidays and polling days coming up at our school!! Thank you for linking to Prose for Thought xx

I do love comments and read them all, please be nice and tboughful to others x
