I Don't Understand (Autism Awareness Month)

I wrote this one as part of autism awareness month. This is why it's written in blue, for years this month, we 'light it up blue' for Autism.

I am not totally happy with the way it flows but I figured, just like autism, you can except its quirks.

I don't understand

You say it is raining Cats and dogs

But only water, I see, fall from the sky

The dog and cat haven't moved!

So you say this, why?!

You say I am happy

I am full of beans

But I don't like them! 

So how can that be?

You want to give lots of cuddles

You want to kiss me and stuff

You say it's for love

But please

One is enough

I love you, I do

But I don't see things the same

I like to be alone

It's just my way

Can you accept that I'm different?

Can you see me for me?

Different is good

Can't we all just be?
