I thought I would do a little post about some of the things I have made.
I often share on pictures of the things I make on Instagram, twitter and facebook (links are the little pink birds, on the right of the page).
I rarely share them on here though, I don't know why. I am a little insecure about my new found hobby, so I wonder if they are good enough. Anyway, I have decided to share on here, and after asking for opinions, across the social media, I have decided to giveaway one of my 'creations'.
This is some of my earlier work, I only started sewing properly late Autumn last year. This collage is up until Christmas:
I discovered, much to my surprise, that I am actually quite good at it. I also really enjoy it!
People started to tell me that I was good too. Again, much to my surprise. I don't actually remember being told I was good at anything. I had very talented brothers, in one way or another, I mostly lived in their shadow. I'm not complaining..........I got the looks and personality!
Anyway, I decided to try another big project, for spring:
Not only am I, apparently, good. I also really enjoy it! I know it is old fashioned, I don't care. I want to do it.
I don't have patterns, I tend to draw things free hand.

seems I am quite good at this too! |
That picture led to today's giveaway. Using this picture, I made a cushion cover. I also go to a sewing class, where I learnt to put in a zip..........you guessed it, in the cushion cover!
This is the finished article, and what I am giving away:
Would you like it? Well you can have it. Just using the rafflecopter widget below.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
There are no hard and fast rules. I will run it for 2 weeks and I will pay for delivery. Please bare in mind, if you live outside the UK it could take a while. Also, if you live outside the UK it will only be the cushion cover, inside the UK it will include the cushion inside. A winner will be picked randomly, via rafflecopter. The winner will then be informed, and will need to reply within 48 hours, or another winner will be picked.
Go for it! Look forward to picking a winner.
