I have had a little wobble this week. I would love to blame it on an upset tummy, or PMT and hormones, there are a million things I could blame it on. A few things I could use as an excuse.
They would all be lies though. The truth is.......I've over eaten, a lot. Ive over eaten all the wrong foods. No lame excuses. The children were off school and I simply didn't take myself into consideration. It's nobody's fault but my own.
This has resulted in:
A weight gain. However I have to console myself that it is just one! It really could have been so much worse.
I have already turned the food situation around. Eating properly, stopping when full etc. the next thing is to get my activity levels up. I am getting so lazy! My Main hobbies (sewing and blogging) both involve sitting down! I still find it a bit boring, walking without a pushchair! Mad, I know, bit it's the truth. So, today I fixed that to. I borrowed my friends toddler daughter and went for a walk. At last look of my fitbit, I was over 9,000 steps. By the time I pick up little A and take her home, I will be well over 11,000.
Really pleased with that, and it will get me back to being more active. I don't think my friend will mind the break either, so it's win/win!
