I'm Back! Wobbles Wednesday

I'm back.....!
(Think Johnny in The Shining). Yes I am that determined.

I had my weeks holiday, in sunny Weymouth. We ate out almost everyday! I had some delicious food, although nothing particularly exotic. It has resulted in a.........

4lb Weight gain!

At my size that is horrible! I have to see the silver lining though, it could of been so much worse. Now the boys are back in school and the hubby is much better, it's time to think of me. The Mr. is afternoons this week, so we've been enjoying some alone time, grown up time.......Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking! Get your minds out of the gutter....

Here is my Autumn action promise to myself..

A. Get Swimming. My back is still playing up, so this is my best idea. I have found out timings for adult swims, best of all, it's in school time!

B. Get my Blood Sugar in Control. Its been too chaotic lately, up an down. I've had a reasonably good appointment, with my diabetic nurse. Now I need to put some of our ideas into practise.

C. Be Real. I give myself too many targets, then when I fail, I fail with style! So I am going to attempt to lose weight. It doesn't have to be big, just gone.

So bring it on 5:2.....I'm ready for you!


  1. Some people gain a lot more on holiday, so you missed a bullet there really!

    Good luck getting back on the 5:2 diet though! Do you find your fasting days get easier the more you do?


    1. yes, they do get easier. Also I adapt and learn more recipes for meals, on fasting days x
