As a member of the mumsnet bloggers network I was recently asked to take part in a 'Kitchen Handover', with Birdseye food.
The idea was that my family took over the kitchen duties, giving me a bit of a break for mothers day, and come up with a dish using BirdsEye products. Thinking 'outside the box' a little. Now to call it a takeover in our kitchen is a bit odd, as we pretty much share the cooking, but hubby was well up for this challenge anyway. He has always been a little 'inventive' shall we say.
Off he went with £15 of vouchers and, knowing him, absolutely no idea what he was going to cook!
Today him and my eldest took over the kitchen. Not for dinner, Oh No! that would be far too easy! I had a 2 course lunch and a dinner.....

He managed to create this........
I mean seriously folks!! Can you see why I married him!
I have felt utterly spoilt today, and the hubby was surprised just how much you can do when you just put your mind to it. Have a go! just click this link: BirdsEye facebook page and take a look at the Cookbook. It has great ideas of what to do with their products....and a little imagination. Have a break and get someone else trying it! Mine turned out amazing.

I was surprised how much Birds Eye make. We also have rice fusions and I love how they are in the freezer, so don't go off and so convenient. Same here my husband does a lot to help too.
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas your end.
