Trying to get back to basics with the cooking this week. Using up a lot of stuff from Xmas shopping for lunches and mixing up ours and the children's favourites for dinner.
Monday: Stew. Hubby is home and does he best stews, plus its full of veg.
Tuesday: Faggots, mash, peas and gravy. Our butchers own faggots, can't beat it.
Wednesday: Spaghetti bolognese. A staple house favourite, that can be warmed through for Hubby when he gets home.
Thursday: Chicken supreme and Rice. Made with a Coleman's sachet as I've never found a recipe that's as good, however, I do add a lot more veg.
Friday: Chicken burgers and chips. Hubby working late, so a kids favourite and I'll add peas and sweetcorn.
Saturday: Take Away. R's 10th birthday and hubby working, so his choice of takeaway it is!
Sunday: Toast dinner. We do love our traditional Sunday roast.
