I am a day late getting this out this week! My apologies, but I had a very busy day yesterday, which in itself is very unusual.
So, time to look at what has brought me joy this week...
(P.s. the dodgy ladies bit, was our team name, we were previously sex in the valleys x)
2. Living on a hill. Yes I know that sounds odd, but my thoughts have really been with the victims of the flooding that the horrific weather is bringing. Approximately a mile from my home there was a road, it was so waterlogged that you could only see the roof of a car in the pictures that I saw. There were houses amongst this! It isn't just a splash of water, it's everything you own, everything you care about, ruined, often beyond repair. I am very lucky and grateful that I am very unlikely to have this happen to my family and home.
3. CHRIIIISSSSTMAAAAAS. we are getting very excited in Ojos world! Oh yes! Me and big A did quite a lot of our Xmas shopping yesterday, I have my savings club sorted in my favourite butcher.......and my crafty bug is hitting overdrive! I'm even getting excited writing about it! Squeeeeee!!
My eldest child is positively vibrating, it's his 15th birthday Boxing Day so it's doubly exciting for him. RJ is his usual nonchalant self and will get beyond excited Xmas eve. Little A is really getting it for the 1st time, so there's lots of talk of Santa!
Honestly and utterly, ridiculously excited!!

ReplyDeleteI tend to get my shopping done over a few days, just odd days where big A is off work and all children are occupied! Yes I did make the little stocking, I found it on Pinterest and thought they would be cute on the tree x
DeleteGreat reasons!
ReplyDeleteThe flooding is awful isn't it, I am eternally grateful to live where I do! No danger of any flooding up here fortunately. xx
