Reasons to be Cheerful

It has been a hell of a week, I'm not going to lie! Between battling the British benefits system and having a stinking cold, you would think I'd be miserable.

I'm not though!

It's half term, which equals lazy lie ins and PJ days.

Reasons to be Cheerful

So that is my first reason:

1. I have barely got dressed this week, neither have the children. As I write this, we are having a Harry Potter marathon, on the TV.

2. Helpful People. I had a lovely phone call, from the lady at Thinking Slimmer. She understands that my brain is working fine, in regards to eating well, but my body is not playing ball! She has recommended I try cutting out carbohydrates, after 4pm. I look forward to seeing if it works.

3. Lovely home cooked food. I've loved having family meals this last week, we've had some delicious home cooked food. Including a lovely dinner called 'Ketchup Chicken', that I will write about next week.

What is making you smile this week?
Come let me know!

  4. A Harry Potter marathon sounds like one of the best ways to spend half term, we had one not so long ago, can't go wrong :-) x
