Reasons to be Cheerful

The blog hop is back with Becky, at Lakes Single Mum, for the month of May. Please go and show her your support, she is so busy right now, how she's found time to do this, I will never know.

I'm also adding this post to Loud and Proud (You'll find the badge at the bottom of my web page), hosted this week by Mama Owl, you will see why in my reasons:

1. My activity levels. I am working really hard to get, and stay, healthy. My eating is not on point.........yet. However, thanks to the Slimpod, my eating is improving hugely. I'm not depending on food as a crutch, chocolate has almost totally left my diet!
I am stepping though, hence my reason to smile, and be proud:

2. A Wedding. This weekend a friend of mine is getting married. She's the best sort of friend, the type of friend that falls in and out of your life, but the relationship never changes. I am so happy to be celebrating her wedding this Saturday (and that I'll be wearing the gorgeous dress I bought!).

3. Love. My husband is still, and always will be, the reason I smile. Having him around for the last couple of months has been a joy, I feel so much more relaxed. For very unhappy reasons (that will be another post), he will be around, probably, permanently. Seeing the silver linings, I get to be around him ALL. THE. TIME. This makes me very happy.

Do come and link up, your reasons become mine, so you will be making me smile too!

Much Love

  3. I always love hearing about that love story you have going on with your OH.
Did you do all that in a week or a day fitness wise - inspirational stuff that I need to learn from. My weight loss journey is wobbling a bit - got down a bit about all the politics around blog awards and the election but back to blogging in the hope it can make me smile a bit more
