Reasons to be Cheerful

Do you realise, this time next week is Christmas eve??

That just about the best reason to be Cheerful, for me!

Don't worry, I still have others, and would love for you to share yours with me.

Ojos World

1. Getting through it. I know that doesn't sound particularly cheerful, but this time of the year is hard for my boys. Although it's tough, we are surviving!

2. An old friend. An old school friend, that I've kept in touch with through social media, but not spoken to face to face in many years, dropped a present into the house last night. She had seen on Facebook that I was struggling and dropped in some 'Me time' gifts. It's renewed my, already strong, faith in people.

3. Making Christmas. I'm still enjoying making things for Xmas. Last night it was home made marshmallow! I was sent the book by a fellow blogger, and friend, City Girl Gone Coastal, many months ago. It's taken me this long to be brave enough to try it! It turned out delicious.

I do hope your Christmas preparations are going well, Mine are keeping me very busy! I will get around to reading all that join in, as the week goes on.

I actually get more time when the boys are home and they finish tomorrow, yay!

  7. It's so easy to do something nice for someone else, yet so very few people actually do. It's lovely to read that you were the recipient of such a kindness :)

I'm happy to read, too, that the boys are coping well xx
