Reasons to Be Cheerful

It's August, which means #r2bc is back with me for the month!

I'm glad it's fallen like this because Becky, over at Lakes Single Mum, is far more adventurous and outgoing than me. With this being her summer hols too, at least she doesn't have to worry about this!

You may have noticed that we are trying out new ways to link up too. Unfortunately, to use the blog hop on linky tools, you have to pay! So different things will be tried out. You will still find the link on my post, but a blog hop may not be possible.

Of course, I will read everyone that links up, drop me a quick comment when you link to let me know and I'll be over (most likely in the evening).

1. A start on the make over of my living room. It's going to get done properly this time! We are expecting it to take a while, but I don't mind. To be fair, my mister works a lot of hours and will be doing most of the work. If I was the type to nag, it may be done quicker........but I'm not. Hopefully it won't look like this by Christmas:

2. Hopefully, when you are reading this, I will be out! I think I've convinced my youngest to leave the house. Fingers crossed!

3. Lunch with the Ladies. I spent all afternoon, Tuesday, with a few of the ladies from the sewing class I attended. One of the ladies invited us to lunch, she prepared it and spoilt us rotten. I loved it, it was so relaxing. I got there at midday..............didn't get home until around 7! (unheard of).

Hope you're all having a great summer and enjoying it, whatever the weather throws at us. Please share your reasons to be cheerful with me, and other positives you may have..

  1. Can you not access linky tools anymore? I should have a standing order to pay for it, I'll investigate. Mich x

  7. I like the old wallpaper but good luck with the makeover anyway. Getting out is good for you and them. Should take my own advice more often. Sounds like a lovely lunch and like the idea of you as a Dirty Old Stop Out. Have a lovely week
