Reasons to be Cheerful!

Can you believe, I nearly forgot!?

I mean, seriously, I've been doing this for about 2 years now, and I nearly forgot. I simply didn't realise it was Thursday!

It's still over with the lovely Becky, at Lakes Single Mum.........until tomorrow!! Then for the month of August is shall rest in my loving hands.

So lets crack on shall we?
Reasons to be Cheerful

1. A day in Cardiff. My hubby managed to get the day off (it was looking iffy) yesterday. This meant I got to go to an opening of Bon Marche in Cardiff (a post will follow). It also meant, getting to put some lippy on AND meeting David Emanuel!

2. Finding time for me. This is kind of tied in to number 1. After attending the opening, I got to wander around alone for a little bit. It's a rare thing for me to be completely alone, it was bliss.

3. Finding a style. I am still loving playing with my hair, and especially loving the style I'm wearing currently. It's kind of based on the 40's victory roll, with a scarf tied around, bow at back. You can't really see the scarf, in the picture below, because it's cream. Anyway, I'm loving it.

So, this week it was all about ME! Ha!

Please excuse my atrocious photography in the picture above, but my new phone doesn't like me taking selfies!

I hope you're finding reasons to be cheerful this week, if you want to read more, just click on the link above, to be magically transported to Becky's site and smile away.....

  5. You look so beautiful. And I love that vintage vibe going on. I still think you came to me near Cinque Ports on Monday even if just your spirit. Me time is wonderful for sure and I love Cardiff and am super envious of you meeting David and also of him seeing you.
