Reasons to be Cheerful 29/05

I am not going to bore you with all the reasons why this week has been shit! It just has.

Instead, I am going to jump straight in with some reasons to be cheerful. My goodness, I need this linky this week!

Reasons to be Cheerful
1. Sewing! I have really struggled to move this week, the pain is a bit much. So my sewing has been a total break. I have made a full set of cushion covers for my living room. I've adjusted a dress for my mum, and made a headscarf out of what was removed! I've also, almost, finished a top for myself, one of those shirred types that you make for little ones. I like them too! I have loads of other little projects to do, which makes me happy.
(There will be a blog coming in the next week, with all my sewing projects)

2. The completion of the front garden. I have said about it a few times, my hubby has worked so hard! Again, there will be a full post coming, about transforming a garden on a budget. But for now, here is my front yard:
Yes, I added an effect..........it hasn't stopped raining long enough to make it look pretty!
3. Lie Ins. Even though little A is never later than 7:30am in our bed, being half term means we don't actually have to get out of bed! It's been Cbeebies and cereal bars until past 10 all week.........heaven.

This is the last week that the blog hop is with Lakes Single Mum, for June you have me!! Hope everyone continues to join in, it's been lovely reading them this month.

  1. Yay for lie-in's! My two are early risers as well but we're enjoying spending a few more minutes in bed before we have to get up. Your garden is looking great!!
I hope the week improves for you x
