A day Out

The first Sunday that we had sun, I actually got my children out of the house. No tablets were taken, no internet of any kind was available.

It was just a day of digging in the sand and kicking footballs.

We really did have a lovely day. Little A loves wet sand, hence the sandy bottom. It was outside of peak season so the dog was allowed on the beach with us. As usual I struggled to get a photo with the teen!

Then when all the people got too much, the crowds got overwhelming, there's always a daddy shoulder to hide behind. There's always a bag of chips, and a quiet corner to eat them.
Then of course, you have five more minutes of digging, while mom rests her legs and takes silly photos!

We had a fantastic day and, thanks to team work, a completely meltdown free day!

We left before it got too much, it was just the right amount.
