Reasons to be cheerful 09/01

As you know, at the beginning of the week, I was finding things quite hard. I have struggled to write anything. I have things to do on here, things I want to change, things I want to write. I just haven't been able to do it.

Then I opened up a bit, and had some helpful comments, one of them being exercise. I took that on board and vowed, to myself, to get out this week. It's really working! I feel better for fresh air. I'm still not being particularly social, but I have a night out with my sis-in-law tomorrow.......that's social.

That brings me around to this weeks
Reasons to be Cheerful
1. Beautiful parks. I know that's a shock, I am well known for barely leaving the house! However, when I do, there are some wonderful places to walk. The picture below , is the river running along side the park I was in today.

2. Weight loss. I said I would do it this year and I so want to mean it. I am trying my best, which resulted in a great loss this week. Now to continue to be a good girl.

3. RJ passing his guitar exam!! Woohoo!  He's going Straight to level 3 now. Over the moon for him. I'm glad that I left it late to write today's post, as this happened in school today.

So are you looking for positives? What is making you smile this week?
Share it with me and the other blog hoppers, or tell me in a comment.

  2. sorry to hear things have been hard for you. Glad you could get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air though. It always helps me to get outdoors too but it can be a struggle to make that first step. Well done to RJ too! xxx

  8. What a great positive post. There's something always a little magical about parks - like nature knows it has a job to do in calming people. Does that sound whacky? Lovely to catch up with you xx
