Scooby-Doo Adventures

I was asked to review this and, quite frankly, couldn't possibly say no! Who could?

Is there a single generation over the years, that hasn't had a taste of Scooby Doo.

My hubby was a big fan of the original Scooby Doo with the Mystery Machine.
I was from the era that brought us an updated format.........and Scrappy Doo!
Then when my 2 eldest came along, so did the movies.

The youngest boy is a big fan of old cartoons, and does love a bit of Scooby Doo but, until now, there had been no new format.

As I said.......until now:

Yes, that is Scooby Doo, in puppet form! It's called Scooby Doo Adventures, The Mystery Map. I know it won't be to every ones taste, but I think things have to change, so that they appeal to a new audience. This really appealed to Little A.

They really have stuck to the whole concept of what Scooby Doo is about. It's still about ghosts and the mystery solving. Scooby Doo and Shaggy are still scared of everything! For me, the highlight was the way the rest of the team is portrayed. The characters are made very 'over the top'.

Would I recommend this DVD? Oh, yes.

Not only does it have this brand new format and brand new mystery, it has also has 2 older formats for your enjoyment, as extras. So your children get to see a 'new' cartoon, while us old fuddy duddys get to relive our childhoods.

What more could you want?
