Reasons to be cheerful 21/11

Reasons to be cheerful is still over with Lakes Single Mum, and for the rest of November, then me in December.

I actually have no struggles to find any this week! This link started, to make us think of the positives, when the negatives get too much. Recently I have really needed that. However, like I said, I have some great happy reasons this week. So lets get on with it!

1. Mr.Ojo has been given new hours, and they are wonderful! There are very few late nights, no more Sunday shifts. We are able to have a family life, sit down together for meals, like normal families. This is a huge reason to be cheerful.

2. Haircuts and Eyebrows. I spent this very morning at Chelsie Studios, just outside my local town, having a bit of a pamper. It was heavenly, they are a very friendly little business. Here is the result:

I love the cut, I love the curls.........and I love that I had my eyebrows shaped, and no longer look like I am smuggling caterpillars on my forehead!

3. Getting in the mood for Xmas, with my sewing. I spent 4 hours, last Saturday, at a Xmas craft class in our local community college. It was fun, relaxed and Christmassy! I managed to complete this:
cute snowman!
And I am in the middle of this:

I am doing a bit of extra quilting on the second one, when completed it will be a Xmas stocking. I shall show the completed picture when, and if, it is finished!

So do you have some lovely reasons to be cheerful? Don't forget to pop along to some other bloggers, joining in below

x OJO x

  6. It makes so much difference to have proper family time, doesn't it? Long may those hours continue! Great sewing, I would love to be able to make things like that, but I just don't have the patience these days.
