Bubbles

I don't know where my head is at this week, I am walking around in a bit of a daydream! Having the boys of school can sometimes be a bit chaotic, the loss of routine is too much for them.

Not this holiday though! They have been so chilled and happy. The middle one (who usually finds it the hardest) has spent his time playing outside in the sun. When the sun isn't out, he has been holed up in his room, creating all sorts on minecraft or practising his guitar.

So that's probably why my little poem this week is quite dreamy. I hope you like it.
I should probably also say, that all the poems and writing that I do, is ALL mine. If it bares any resemblance to anyone else's work you read. I apologise profusely and will immediately remove it.

Bubbles

I see the bubbles floating by
they make me smile they make me sigh
I wish I was a bubble too
with colours a blur, flowing through

I see the stars, far away from our touch
they are memories of ones we love
to our hearts they mean so much
forever shining, up above

I see the clouds, soft and light
they sometimes hide the sun so bright
but even when they are dark and grey
We know the suns not far away

Then I see you, my hearts desire
you stand so tall and proud
you image sets my heart on fire
and makes it beat so loud

  1. I love the imagery in this and how you move through from bubbles to someone who means so much to you. It's a poem that tells a story. I love that you write all your own material too. Well Done and Thanks for joining in with Wednesday Words xx
