Reason to be Cheerful 27/06

It's that time of the week again, where we take a moment to reflect on the good things in our life. I was very fortunate to meet Michelle from mummy from the heart, the host of this lovely linky. I can see why she is so good at it. What a warm, beautiful woman she is.

Onto my reasons, here goes.....

1. Overcoming my fears of being anywhere apart from home!! I got to London on my own (well I did meet Mama Owl in Bristol, but ya know!!). I relaxed and enjoyed the weekend (only 1 little meltdown). I am now thinking about what is next in my life. I have already bought my ticket for next years Brit Mums Live, and I intend to not waste a second of it.  It must of done something for me, as I went for a wander around the shops today, rather than sit in alone!
2. Little A's progress. My little boy is counting things, not just saying random numbers, but properly counting things! He has also taken really well to the phonics and is reading small sentences. It just goes to show that my expectations were justified.

3. I have a new Fitbit! I love my fitbit, but my old one was getting a bit battered. It still works, so the hubby has snaffled that one. I have the little 'zip' model, which really is a glorified pedometer, but I can't help it! I am a fully paid up member of the gadget addicts!!

So,over to you, what is making you smile this week?
If you can't think of anything why not blog hop onto another page, see if they can make you smile.
